What Google announced for AI Brief, how to prepare useful guidance and why a business description cannot replace campaign strategy.
Separate the announcement from confirmed access
Google introduced AI Brief as a way to give AI Max business context in your own words. Its announcement describes an English-first rollout for Search, with other campaign types to follow. It does not confirm universal Polish-language access. Check the current options in the account before scheduling implementation. The examples below explain how to prepare a brief, rather than claiming the feature can be activated everywhere.
Three kinds of guidance
The announcement distinguishes messaging, matching and audience guidelines. They answer different questions: what to say, which needs to address and whom the offer suits. “Sell more” is not enough. Describe the product, service boundaries, a benefit that can be substantiated and the intended outcome. Naming an industry alone leaves too much room for assumptions that do not fit the business.
A useful brief starts with facts
Record what the customer actually buys, where it is available, under which terms and with which limitations. Separate stable facts from changing prices and availability. Identify the page that verifies the details. If two pages give conflicting terms, fix the source first. A long description is unhelpful when it contradicts itself or promises a service the team cannot deliver.
A hotel example: weekday stays
Instead of “a luxury hotel for everyone”, describe Sunday-to-Thursday stays, the intended guest, package contents and exclusions. If a massage costs extra, say so clearly. Do not present an indicative rate as permanently available. This is an example of preparing accurate content, not a promise of occupancy-based targeting or an automatic connection to live room availability.
Guidance does not replace controls
Distinguish written instructions from hard account and campaign settings. Continue checking budget, locations, exclusions and destination pages. Do not assume a sentence in a brief behaves exactly like a technical restriction. Google describes previews of sample assets and searches; use available previews to check consistency. Pay particular attention to numbers, promotional conditions and claims about results.
Evaluate quality rather than length
Prepare common customer questions and cases the offer does not cover. Check whether the messages remain accurate for each case. Then assess sales, lead quality and acquisition cost. Better copy can increase clicks without increasing revenue. Keep brief versions and change dates so that an improvement is not attributed to wording when prices or budgets changed at the same time.
Prepare before access becomes available
Create a concise document covering the offer, audience, evidence, limits and business objective. Assign an approver and a review date for seasonal information. This material also helps existing campaigns and the sales team. Once the feature is available in the relevant account and language, begin a limited test. A brief should support decisions, not replace understanding of the business.

FAQ
Is AI Brief available in Polish on every account?
The cited announcement does not confirm that. It describes an English-first, gradual rollout. Check the specific account's access.
Is a brief enough to run a campaign?
No. Reliable measurement, campaign settings, an accurate offer and review of sales outcomes are still necessary.
