Agree product selection, compensation, briefs and reconciliation. Sales commission does not remove the cost of samples, content or customer service.
Confirm the model and access conditions
TikTok’s Polish launch material describes eligible creators promoting products for commission on sales. Check current requirements for the market and account. This does not promise every interested creator immediate access. The focus here is managing a partnership rather than providing another general introduction to the platform.
Derive commission from product economics
An illustration, not TikTok pricing: from PLN 100 net revenue, subtract PLN 55 goods, PLN 8 fulfilment, PLN 5 returns allowance, PLN 7 fees and a PLN 10 contribution target. PLN 15 remains for the creator and other partnership costs. Samples or production reduce that headroom; competitors’ rates are not a sufficient basis.
Match the creator to the product’s use
Check whether the audience understands the problem and the creator can demonstrate a genuine solution. Follower count cannot replace fit. Review earlier demonstrations, audience questions and how limitations are explained. Start with a small partner group so the team can handle materials and resulting orders properly.
Prepare a factual brief
Provide use cases, the correct variant, a price to verify before publication, availability and limitations. Agree collaboration disclosure and any use of content beyond the original publication. Commission does not automatically grant rights for every advertisement. Creators need accurate facts, not exaggerated slogans or invented product promises.
Separate samples, publication and paid promotion
Sending a product does not automatically guarantee publication, timing or sales. Record the agreement before dispatch and track samples. Separately account for any fixed payment and advertising use of the material. Define settlement and adjustment rules under current programme terms without inventing one universal payment schedule.
Reconcile orders after adjustments
Compare attributed sales with cancellations, returns, margin and handling costs. Do not count an order again when it also appears in an advertising report. Attribution identifies an assigned source; it does not prove the customer would not have purchased otherwise. Use consistent order identifiers and review periods before declaring profitability.
Expand based on repeatability
Continue with partners who represent products accurately and deliver results after costs. Check replenishment when content starts selling; a short spike without stock can generate cancellations. Set review dates, sample limits and cost ceilings for the pilot so it can end without automatically extending every partnership.
